Q: I often travel overseas for business, does My Notification Service work in foreign countries?
YES! My Notification Service's 24/7 toll free number accepts calls from many countries and territories. For those countries in which our toll-free number does not work we have a supplemental email sticker.
Q: If I have certain medical conditions or I'm allergic to certain drugs or medications can I enter that information in to my file so in case of emergency the doctors treating me can be made aware of it?
Yes! My Notification Service will transmit potentially lifesaving medical information you have entered in to your file to the hospital where you are being treated at, this is a unique service offered only by the caring professionals at My Notification Service at no extra charge to you!
Q: In the event I'm involved in an accident or a medical emergeny what will the staffers at My Notification Service call center tell my contacts?
In order to avoid any confusion or misinformation the operator will respond as follows: "Hello this is My Notification Service is this Mrs. Smith? Yes? We are calling you to inform you that Mr. John Smith has been admitted to Mercy Hospital the phone number there is 1-800-555-1212 please contact them for further information, thank you.
Q: Am I able to update the contact information for people on my notification list ?
You can update contact information by logging on at our secure website with your user name and password, then going to My Account
Q: My child is away at college. Where do I list his/her college address?
List the college address in the comment section of your child's membership.
Q: Who will be contacted first?
The operators on duty will call in the order they are listed in, so please take the time to think about who needs to know first.
Q: How long does it take before I receive my stickers and ID card?
On average 7 to 10 business days
